Amadeus has pride in its LGBTQ+ stance
Amadeus has joined the International LGBTQ+ Travel Association (IGLTA) to help provide more information and resources for LGBTQ+ travellers.
IGLTA, which champions the social and economic impact of LGBTQ+ tourism, said the commitment by Amadeus to inclusive travel experiences “truly aligns with our mission to advance LGBTQ+ tourism…. we’re excited to see the collaborative opportunities its membership unlocks.”
Amadeus has a strong track record of support for the LGBTQ+ community, becoming in 2018 a supporter of the United Nations Standards of Conduct for Business for tackling discrimination against lesbian, gay, bi, yrans, and intersex people.

HotelPORT and Yext seek truth in information
HotelPORT has sealed a partnership with Yext, the digital presence platform for multi-location brands. HotelPORT will integrate Yext’s platform to enhance the accuracy and completeness of hotel information across a broad array of third-party channels and local directories.
It will allow hoteliers, restaurants and spas to monitor the digital landscape where their customers are interacting with their brand, manage their digital presence and deliver “a consistent, accurate and engaging experience to customers anywhere in the digital world”.

Trickiest countries for expats to relocate to
India is the hardest country in the world to emigrate to, according to research conducted by expat insurance specialist, William Russell.
Australia, Finland, Romania and the Netherlands fill the top five places, ahead of the United States, where countries set high barriers for entry by expats.
William Russell analysed factors such as expat population, visa data, required vaccines and language requirements to determine the hardest countries to emigrate to.
India has the fewest number of expats at 0.4%, it also requires the greatest number of vaccines at three for most travellers.
Other study Insights:
Hungary is the easiest country to emigrate to.
Australia is the country with the highest visa-related fees of approx. US$1987.
Luxembourg has the highest salary threshold of approx. US$91,880.
Canada takes the longest to process applications, with a wait time of 41 weeks.
Finland has a high earnings threshold for applicants for an EU Blue Card, at €62,508/US$67,750, as well as application costs of €380/US$412.
Australia, Canada and the UK all require a language proficiency test for a work visa.
